About the Department
Mathematics is well known as the Queen of Sciences and Mother of Sciences too. With this word in mind, Our Department is one of the pioneering departments of our college functioning effectively from its inception in 1991, committed to the cost of quality education in Mathematics and actively guiding students of all engineering departments in a fruitful way to build a strong application mind . By way of developing the basic skills of arithmetic and application , we are motivating our students to participate in paper presentation at various institutions. Particularly under Humanities and Science Association, first year students actively participated weekly paper presentation within the campus and outside too.
The department has six well qualified faculty members with one Ph.D., two pursuing Ph.D. and others taking steps to undergo shortly. The staff members are also engaged in research activities and the preparation of special courses in various disciplines for the benefit of the students. To keep in touch with the ever growing technology, the faculty members are participating regularly in symposia conducted by various universities and research institutions.
Our Department offers assistance to all Engineering students for imparting quality education. Our faculty members are readily extend their helping hands to extend their support in conducting other co-curricular and extra curricular activities of other departments and associations.
We are producing top rank engineers whose are working in different places of our globe. We have produced 13 centum so far and many students have got distinction in Engineering Mathematics/ Numerical Methods/Operations Research/Discrete Mathematics.
